As requested time for the annual, 'make yourself look like a dick come May' thread.

As always no prizes just bragging rights, and a chance to embarrass yourself.

1) Which Man City will win the league?
2) Team who finishes second behind Man City?
3) The other two CL qualifiers, in order.
4) The three sides relegated from the PL.
5) Team that massively exceeds expectations.
6) The team that manages to be worse than shite, despite having a solid squad
7) Top scorer in PL
8) Top assister in PL
9) First manager sacked.
10) FAC winner
11) Worthless Cup winner
12) CL winner
13) CL runner up
14) EL winner
15) UEFA Conference winner
16) The signing of the summer
17) The biggest waste of money of the summer
18) Random predictions.

Given what happened to Timber when I declared him signing of the season last year I'm reticent to put anything remotely positive about Arsenal

Timber will be a good signing long term I reckon. I'm leaving this until 2 weeks today, I need more time to come to terms with predicting that Man City will win everything again.

That's a fairly safe bet, unless the PL grow a set and actually punish them, 115 times.

Their trial starts in October I think? Will be interesting, could derail their season, doubt it.

He has said he has been assured they are innocent if they are proven guilty he will quit.

In his defence I don't know how much a manager knows about what goes on behind the scenes, the ins and outs of sponsorship deals etc.

Thoughts on AWB? 15m isnt bad value. He is quite limited, but if you just want a RB who defends……

Yup. Though he was there 5yrs. I was amazed it was that long. Under those daft accountancy/FFP rules Utd may even have made a 'profit' on him.
But giving him a 5m pay off kinda sums up what a pish signing (for Utd) he was.

Great defender, although seems to have lost the ability to go forward at Man U. I'm sure I remember him being quite pacey and attacking for Palace. Should be a very good signing- I'm happy with him

Happy with Man Utd's transfer window, another centre back would be nice along with a full back for each side and a defensive midfielder. I'm hoping that having 3 or 4 centre backs that are comfortable playing out from the back will be transformative. As already said AWB was a good defensive right back but ETH wants full backs that overlap. Just need to get rid of the rest of the dead wood and we'll have a decent squad.

Interesting what this post will look like at the end of the season. 😂
