I just cannot see who will miss out..

Scousehampton, having merged with Southampton hard to see them missing out with money spent
ManU - Van Gaal will not have united lower than 4th
Man City - champions to 5th? Possible ut unlikely
Arsenal - The football gods always give them top 4, its as if Wenger has performed a Faust-esque deal to always guarantee it without winning the title.
Chelsea - no way with their recruitment are they finishing lower than 2nd at worse

Yeah it could well be a very interesting season. The likes of Spurs and Evertson will be there or there abouts challenging, possibly just for a UEFA cup spot but dangerous enough to take points off te others. Spurs may be more of a danger if they bought a striker, but Daniel Levy seems more concerned with their reserve goal keeper situation! :roll:

I worry about Arsenal, too many light weight, injury prone midfielders and no one to win the ball. I fear they could continue where they left off last year, far too good for the bulk of the PL but struggling against the other "bigger" sides and cruise into the knock out stages if the CL only to be summarily dismantled by a "big gun".

Liverpool will be hard to predict with CL, no Suarez and half a dozen new additions. Although as they had a minute squad last year the additions are actually a good thing.

Van Gaal at Utd will be interesting as well.

pools markovic and lovern are excellent signings, manu will be back in the mix, we will have it tough fighting for top 4 finish, but very doable.

i think spurs will do sod all this season though.
