2 tie fighter (starwars)

These are my top 5 iconic space ships when I was growing up, and ones I built lego models of etc.

5 - Original TV Series Hitchhikers Guide to The Galaxy Heart of Gold

Not the crappy round ball in the movie remake, the one with Zaphod Beeblebrox at the helm with 2 proper heads (the second one was a crappy BBC animatronic admittedly)

4 - 2001 Discovery One

Loved this ship and how they ran round the inside as it span to create artificial gravity. HAL was pretty cool too, if a bit mad.

3 - Blakes 7 Liberator

Zen the spaceship computer was dull, but ORAC, the perspex box full of xmas tree lights made up for it. Cool teleporter with bracelets too.
Loved the symmetry of the main body with 3 surrounding pods.

2 - Original Series Enterprise

NCC 1701 all the way. No crappy A/B/C/D/E make overs for me. Loved the classic shot of it rounding the planet in the original series opening credits.

1 - Star Wars Millenium Falcon

Han Solo was the ultimate space pilot. Loved the ship layout, sticky out cockpit and the classic shot of him flying out of the sun after shooting
Darth Vaders tie fighter in the Death Star trench.

Great idea, I like it :D though will have to be a bad bad boy & split this up, fav 5 non SW & 5 SW, as I just can't make it fit otherwise

None SW

5. Narn heavy cruiser

4. Prototype federation war ship (voyager series)

3. Classic klingon

2. Nell (battle beyond the stars)

1. The Liberator

SW

5. Command Ship

4. Tie Interceptor

3. B-Wing

2. The falcon

1. Tie Bomber

5. WarHawk from Buck Rogers, awesome design.

4. STTNG Enterprise, who wouldn't want to travel the galaxy in 1980's comfort.

3. Y-Wing Always loved the look of this ship over the X-Wing.

2. Phoenix from Battle of the Planets, you can't beat a ship that turns into a flaming bird of fire!

1. Star Destroyer, for me the single most iconic space scene in cinema history. When that star destroyer enters the screen at the beginning of A New Hope it still gives me goose bumps every time I watch it.

In no particular order

1. X Wing Fighter
2. Millennium Falcon
3. A Wing Fighter
and these two bad boys

4. The Spacecraft from "The Last Starfighter"
5. The home made rust bucket in "The Explorers"

He probably whacked off on it or in it.

Yeah odd that Todd, not an obvious choice, but I have always loved the Tie Bomber, was always gutted they never brought one out for the vintage line, I keep considering buying a modern one

I have a couple of Eagle ships, just the small ones & the white one is missing the pod, but I love them, another one that was on the list of maybes for my top 5

@ Rebel_Runner, that ship from the Last Star Fighter is a prototype Gunstar fitted with deathblossm device  that one was on my considerations list, bloody great film, always loved that line about his trailer - yeah its a mobile cave that never went anywhere

EDIT: - stop being lazy you ****ing slackers, we want pictures!!! :)

There was a slight element of drool!

He's also now set up a shop so I can imagine he's going to step up his buying game just to check those shelves stocked.

Well since the best ones have already gone:
