Tri-Logo Hoth Stormie Cape. Original?

Hi all.

Recently purchased a Hoth Stormie from evil bay listed as a Tri-Logo complte with original accessories. The seller had 100% feedback and was selling other Star Wars figures so decide to bid and won him.

So he came today and was just concerned about the skirt. I know these ones had circles instead of slits to affix it to the figure, but are they suppose to have the cross hatch pattern on one side and make the 'zipping' sound like the Kenner ones, only this one doesn't. It's smooth on both sides, one side more glossy than the other, is that right? I've never had one of these before so I have no idea if its vintage.

Added a couple of photos, so any comments, advice and help would be welcome.

The tri logo hoth snowtrooper capes are smooth both sides like yours, so that could very well be genuine and looks it from the pics

I'm no expert on these, but looks ok to me. Not that it means much! :lol:

That's great thanks a lot for the advice. The rifle is legit, but was unsure on the skirt. You've both put my mind at rest a bit.

it looks ok to me, but if you want to be 100% sure then try to meet with another collector that has one and compare the one you have with his.
Sometimes you need to have one in your hand before you can be 100% sure :wink:

It seems unlikely to me that a cape with damage and a repair would be fake, but always worth checking.
