The third pic looks spectacular. Like the creepy tree 8)

It looks like Luke has followed the footsteps of his old master, Yoda.

Both become recluses... and both ended up living in trees... Although Luke didn't fancy hiding back on Dagobah.

This pic has leaked ahead of Celebration... sometimes these things are faked but could well be the title of Episode VIII is 'Fall Of The Resistance'. It would at least fit in with the '4 word' middle movie of the previous two trilogies (The Empire Strikes Back / Attack Of The Clones)....

Still not sure why they are called the resistance. Makes no sense.

there was a rebellion to the Empire who were the ruling force.. or ruling power. Emperor Palpatine used his evil to get to the top and then act as dictator. Thus if you dont like being ruled by a dictator, you rebel.

The first order is an uprising from the remnants of that empire. No longer the ruling organisation, so a Rebellion would be incorrect as theres a new order of how people are being managed/ruled. You would resist their advances to take control. Thus its a resistance rather than a rebellion.
