Celebration Europe 2023!!!

Had a great time at Celebration. I attended Friday and Saturday, couldn't do the whole thing as had family stuff going on over Easter. Listened to the Generation Skywalker and Vintage Rebellion podcasts on my way to London which gave some great tips and tricks for the convention. Thanks lads! Didn't get into any panels but following their advice managed to see a lot of the stars on the Live stage. As I was only there two days I spent the whole time running around the Excel trying to fit it all in. Managed to pick up a couple of MOCs from Toys Of Tattoine and Yub Nub. Seemed fitting as they were the characters on the tickets. Sorry I never got to see many people. See you all in Japan 2025! MTFBWY!

I was chatting to a seller about stuff going missing from tables on Friday. He said it was the main reason he no longer stood at the NEC, and from a buyer perspective at that particular event I've had someone try and open my bag before.
One Echo live there was a family on the rob, Mr, Mrs and allegedly kids as well.
Stay vigilant everywhere.

Yes, the money can be....painful at times.

I am dead excited about the Ashoka series. I loved her character from Clone wars and love seeing the Rebels characters.

But seeing a live action Thrawn and reference to 'Heir to the Empire'....I must be honest, I had tears in my eyes when they showed the extended trailer

I'm assuming, since it is the thing that makes most sense, is that Thrawn is going to be the Big Bad for the all the Disney+ connected series and the Filoni movie is going to be the final showdown.

It is a pity that Luke and the gang won't be involved (unless there is surprise series in development) but I am looking forward to the character of Thrawn coming to live action.

It is bewildering to me why there isn't a post-RotJ Skywalker animated series.

Do they show him in the trailer? I don't want to see him until I sit down to watch the series so i want to know if I need to start avoiding Star Wars related news.

The standard trailer only shows the back of him. However during the Ashoka panel they showed an additional scenes, one of which showed him clearly. It's not been officially released but there are un authorised videos of it

Ashoka is due August, Skeleton is this year, the others are next year.

Hope it's OK to link my YouTube video here to show my day at SWCE 2023. I only attended the Saturday in the end due to family commitments over Easter and to save a bit of money! It was a fabulous but exhausting day. I also got fined £180 for driving in the ULEZ zone, unaware it had extended that far . I gave my Sunday ticket away to a local mate in exchange for any swag doubles he could pick up for me
