Here's why -

Kenner were desperate to get sales up in 1985-86 but LFL vetoed a bunch of their ideas (namely producing toys that took the story way beyond the Battle of Endor).

Tarkin was, at this late stage, proposed - but never made. Interest was dying off and Kenner cut their losses and moved on.

There's some cool "what-ifs" in this employee presentation - and a few horrific shite-piles that we should be grateful never happened...

That presentation's great. My collection will never be complete without a Mongo Beefhead!!!! :lol: :shock: :shock:

Just read the note at the bottom and the head is Squid heads on it's side/back!!

Looking at the vintage Leia's produced during the 80's I can't imagine they could have made her sexy!! The Leia Hoth in a bikini is a scary thought :(
