I've been away at San Diego Comic Con and while there I visited the offices of Lucasfilm in San Francisco. Had a great time there and am more or less back in the normal routine but I've still been purchasing while away.

The other swag from the trip will come later but here's some recently purchased cardbacks:

Have some cardbacks for trade ideally for other cards but would consider selling if there's nothing to trade for. Cards come in varying condition so if you require more details about a particular card just ask.

I need a number of ROTJ, ESB, SW, Tri Logo & POTF cards so let me know what you have :)

I've recently made the decision to collect cardbacks, but to keep it short and sweet. I've decided to go for the first 12, possibly 21 on Palitoy cards after seeing Darren Jeffrey's collection, who had his displayed in cases and they looked really good. Didn't take up too much space and seriously cheaper than MOC's.

So my question is, how much should these be roughly, in good condition with nameplates intact? Does MOC rarity translate exactly to cardback rarity?

Not bought one yet, so hoping to pop my cherry soon :)

First 12s on Palitoy can go for sixty quid each depending on condition, second waves up to £20 maybe. I'm not fussy about condition as long as the nameplate is present and have got some for a lot cheaper.

You mentioned 'first 21'. The earliest Pali Fett is the 30b which is too rich for my blood.

Magic, thanks for the info mate, putting together a set is well within my budget, nothing too scary.

And thanks for clarifying the Fett issue :)

Martin, you do seem to source an awful lot of quality cardbacks! (a couple in there I'm extremely jealous of  )

My current mission is progressing nicely:

I'd appreciate a heads up if anyone spots any more for the collection. :D
