Nah,, never bothered with ebay as firstly I don't think they would sell, as they are not exactly pieces of art  secondly, if they did it would be about £3
Then there's all the postage bollocks.

On average they take anything from 3 to up 8 or more hours depending

I would much rather spread some smiles on the forum, as they come as a surprise out of the blue and go to people who want them, and it's a way of
Giving back :D
Always nice when the postman brings something SW related :D

Mmmmm...there is a story there, that along with a half done yoda on a canvas have mysteriously gone missing ( my mrs swears blind she hasn't chucked them, but I'm not convinced, but have searched) I restarted it this week Barry as I gave up looking, I will get it finished buddy, just apologise that it's taken this long...bloody gutted that they've been whizzed, as yours was three quarters done

I was living in hope that it would turn up

Sorry pal

A few quid isn't enough , got to be worth your time, i know with my stuff people put in silly bids like a fiver or ten pound for a piece which cost about 60 to make, i bung a reserve price on mine to stop the lowballing, and yeah postage can be a pain especially framed stuff.
Ah well just an idea mate, its great that your willing to send them out to friends, just hope some of that goodwill comes back your way

With all the shite and horror stories I see about ebay...I know with my bloody luck, it would be a nightmare, have enough
Going on at the mo....
You know what it's like when doing something crafty like the pieces you do mate, you lose yourself in your own little world
So for me it's chill time, probably the only time I truly relax :D and if it brings smiles along the way, then great ...it's all good.

 I got up at 5 am this morning to finish that yoda, as I couldn't sleep, is it the same with you mate...once you start something yo can't put it down...or is it just my mental state

Been thinking...

The 2 Yodas framed, if I can come up with a competition idea, would they be received well as prizes on the forum?
Or am I wasting my time?

Opinions welcomed :D

Wasting your time Mike :p

They would be great as a comp prize. It's great when you get your teeth into something mate, and it all comes together :D

My problem is frustration and incomplete projects

Yeah i get lost in the project, i once was sculpting away and cut my leg on the workbench, on a nail that was sticking out, didn't notice i'd done it till i stopped work, so yeah i do know that happy place lol
A competition sounds good, but honestly why not trade them away, get yourself some goodies?

I'm murder with these pics, have to finish them, but I do start about 3 or 4 at once, have three on the go now ( one of which is yours Barry).
Another one is Ariel....unfortunately the tractor has to be started again

Ill have a think on a comp idea and get one going, I'm not that inventive though, so it won't be anything groundbreaking.

It's a complete mystery mate, but we have an old Victorian pine corner cupboard where I keep some of my paper and pics etc, I got a new batch of paper ( quite a lot) so the Mrs did tidy the cupboard out, they may have been in with some papers and she didn't notice, but I havnt the heart to blame her, so looks like they've gone....no worries though I have started on another and will get it finished mate :D

 your the first person to mention Christmas mate....and it's only August

I put some pics up on the swaps thread ages ago and got no takers, so just send them off now to deserving recipients on the forum mate.

So many good guys on here, and I honestly get a buzz out of sending the pics off, and people actually putting them in the vicinity of their collections, which is a bit humbling really, nice to think my pics are allowed anywhere near their collections.

It's weird really as I'm not the most sociable of people, very family oriented and don't really socialise, but love the comradery on here and the community spirit, just look at what Jez accomplished recently....awesome. The Podcasts are ace, and I've made some great mates on here like yourself and Andy, Barry, June ......and on and on. ( Billy no mates without the forum  )

Thanks guys

As its a vector graphic I can scale it no problem Mike.

As it is there it's about 20 x 18 inches (off the top of my head)

I only have an A4 printer though :(
