We also have some awesome presentation news to add for the day. "Vintage Star Wars Special Action Figure Sets" Chris Caswell will take each of us on a show and tell on this particular area for collecting, showcasing some of the pieces from his fantastic collection.

The User Contributed Display theme will be a seasonal one, "Star Wars At Christmas", so get your thinking caps on to what YOU can contribute from your collection for the day. The connection could be anything, as long as there is a story or connection to the piece you display, so it could be something from your childhood that you got for Christmas for example. So to avoid a dozen copies of The Star Wars Christmas Album, it could be your anything as long as there is some tie in to Star Wars and Christmas

Cant flipping wait, sounds like its going to be another great weekend. Have one thing that I can put in the user contributed display as well. Chris' talk sounds like it will be interesting as well. Roll on the 1st December for the sleepover at Jez's then the big day.

Dave, how close to the event can we order books?? I've got my name down for one but pondering on getting another.

as far as I'm aware, no-one here has ordered directly through the website, only requested - which is fine as long as everyone comes through and pays
The sooner we know in terms of numbers, the better we can guarentee everyone gets what they ask for. We have 3 strikes so to speak, those shipped to me, copies Gus brings a few days before and then copies Duncan brings the day before, but as these are BIG and HEAVY, the more we can get shipped, the better as it may be problematic getting 20 books or so on personal allowances etc.
