Random prediction, England to be **** boring to watch and the ROI to play 1990's style footy and get played off the park by everyone. Not sure the new format will work as the teams in the latter groups will know what they need to finish second or as one of the best placed third place teams, but UEFA won't give a ****.

Ehhh I think pretty much everyone admits England's group is as close to a 'gimme' as you get in a major tournament. If they don't get out of that group Woy and the team should be sent off to fight ISIS.

ROI, scrap out of the group get beat on penalties or late goal in q,finals by one of the stronger teams but pushed them close.
NI, to do better than most people expect. Shake one of the big guns but not enough in the tank to push on, but do themselves proud.
England going well make semi and the dreaded penalty shoot out comes back to haunt them.
Then we all end up watching the final with a few beers thinking the team we wer supporting should be in the final.

hahhahahaha - what a pile of **** that was - I got Germany in the semis but that was about it - funny thing is that if we'd beaten Slovakia I could have seen us in the final - but hey ho - always next tournament to bomb at

I agree, the top half of the brackets was far easier than the lower half. England would have had just as good a shot as anyone had they won their group.

Oh well, that's not what happened, and they allowed themselves to be embarrassed by tiny Iceland, who France absolutely destroyed in the next round, so maybe they wouldn't have made it past that first knockout game against Ireland either.

Two more years until the World Cup. Any chance with a new manager, we can atone for this disaster? I'd like to think we still have the talent to do so.

Well I was right about Iceland, that's about it!
